Donkey Kong is a returning fighter from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, debuting in the original Super Smash Bros. He is classified as Fighter #2 in Ultimate.
Instead of the realistic gorilla grunts he had in previous games, he is instead voiced by Takashi Nagasako (who also voiced Ganondorf), reprising his role in all versions via voice clips repurposed from various Mario games and Donkey Kong Country games made by Retro Studios.
