Triva[]

  • Banjo-Kazooie is the first universe to have a remix be arranged by a Western composer, being Grant Kirkhope in this case.
    • According to Kirkhope, he was first hinted at Banjo & Kazooie's inclusion when Davide Soliani (creative director of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, which Kirkhope composed for) emailed him asking for his contact information on Nintendo's behalf.
    • Kirkhope is one of two Western composers to create music for Ultimate overall, the other being Toby Fox, who arranged the remix of his song "MEGALOVANIA" from his game Undertale.
    • Kirkhope's music for the Banjo-Kazooie series is the second time his work has appeared in Smash, as the first would be the "DK Rap".
  • "Spiral Mountain" is currently the only DLC song to be previewed in Ultimate's website.
