- "Lumiose City" is one of four songs from a major series to only be exclusive to Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, the other three being the direct rips of "Kirby Retro Medley" from Kirby's Dream Land, "Wrath of the Reset Bomb" and "Dark Pit" from Kid Icarus: Uprising.
- 3DS/Wii U's version of "Battle! (Wild Pokémon) - Pokémon Diamond / Pokémon Pearl" is the only Pokémon song to not reappear in another installment of Smash Bros.
- It is also the only remix from 3DS/Wii U to not return for Ultimate.
- Generation II is the only generation to have one song attributed to it in Smash.
- In terms of the games themselves, Gold & Silver and Black 2 & White 2 are the only mainline titles to only have one song representing them.
- "Battle! (Steven)" and "Battle! (Lorekeeper Zinnia)" are the only two songs in the Pokémon series to be attributed to remakes.
