The Plants vs. Zombies universe refers to the Smash Bros. series’ collection of characters, stages, and properties that hail from the popular series of tower defense and third-person shooter games developed by PopCap Games and published by Electronic Arts. In the original game, the player plants a wide variety of Plants with different abilities that they use to defend their home from a horde of Zombies, led by the evil scientist Dr. Zomboss.
