—Description from the Super Smash Blog.
Roll is Mega Man's Echo Fighter and is classified as Fighter #46ε. Shee was revealed in a Twitter announcement on November 12th, 20XX alongside Black Shadow. Roll shares many similarities with her brother Mega Man.
Jab: (Roll Buster) Fires up to 3 shots from her Roll Buster.
Dash Attack: (Break Dash) Rockets forward with an energy blade on her arm.
Side tilt: (Roll Buster) Behaves identically to her Neutral Attack, except she can fire while running forwards.
Up tilt: Twirls her broom upwards.
Down tilt: (Charge Kick) Does a slide kick as her foot is engulfed with energy.
Side Smash: (Charge Shot) Charges up energy in her Roll Buster before firing off a bigger & more powerful burst.
Up Smash: (Triple Blade) Raises her Buster to the air & fires a spreadshot of 3 blades above herself.
Down Smash: (Knight Crusher) Transforms her hands into maces & slams them on both sides of herself.

Neutral Aeriel: (Roll Buster) Behaves identically to her Neutral Attack & Forward Tilt, except she fires while jumping or falling in the air.
Forward Aeriel: (Ballade Cracker) Transforms her hand into a buzzsaw & slashes downward in front of herself.

Roll’sSpecial Moves
Standard Special
Shadow Blade
It would do more damage than Metal Blade and travel further. However, it cannot be picked up like a regular item, which means DLN mains will have to adapt to losing a lot of crazy setups.
Side Special
Drill Bomb
Roll will fire a projectile similar in shape to the Crash Bomber. Unlike with the Crash Bomber, however, the damage on a foe it latches onto builds up the moment it happens before it performs a single-hit explosion. This mechanical difference does not offset that it deals the same amount of damage and knockback as the Crash Bomber.
Up Special
Beat
Functions exactly like the Custom Move in Smash 4, I think beat is a good choice for roll as it not only fits her personality a bit better but also it adds some extra visual variety when compared to Mega Man
Down Special
Star Clash
Functions just like Leaf Shield but the stars spin slightly faster.
Roll takes a bucket of water and splashes it out. If it makes a connection with the opponent, it triggers a cinematic where Roll utilizes her Roll Buster along with Roll Caskett from Mega Man Legends, Roll.EXE from Mega Man Battle Network, Alia from Mega Man X, Ciel from Mega Man Zero, and Harp Note from Mega Man Star Force.
Taunts[]
Up Taunt: Eddie teleports in and is seemingly distressed (like he accidentally arrived here). Roll smiles and waves, which calms him down.
Down Taunt: Roll switches her arm to a vacuum and sucks up some dust.
Right Taunt: Beat flies forward from behind her and rests on her arm as she scratches his neck. This is a taunt that lasts until the player presses a button to cancel it.
Left Taunt: Roll takes a brush and cleans the ground fictiously.
On-Screen Appearance[]
Roll comes in riding on Rush which is lifted from Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2.
Idle Poses[]
Giggles to herself
Kicks the ground
Victory Poses[]
Roll sweeps up skid marks from the fight then notices the camera and strikes a pose with her broom slung over her shoulder and her free hand in a peace sign.
Roll appears with Rush, Eddie, and Beat as she twirls around.
Roll comes running but slips and falls She looks up embarrassed about the scene.
Classic Mode Route: Cleaning Up Messes[]
Given Roll is a cleaning robot, every opponent is dirty, filthy, or known for being one of those two.
